DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Adults - Take 1 capsule 3 times per day with meals containing protein or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond three months. Do not use beyond six months.
WARNINGS
Contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women and those with active peptic ulcers.
Not to be used in conjunction with activated charcoal.
Caution advised with medical conditions including diabetes and cystinuria.
Drug interactions
Caution advised when used concurrently with antibiotics.
Side effects
N-Acetylcysteine strongly potentiates the effect of nitroglycerin and related medications and may cause hypotension as a result. Discontinue if gastrointestinal disturbance occurs.
